High Pressure Processing (HPP)
Consumers want the freshest flavors available in juices, salads, dips and processed meats, and some of the best tasting products come from high pressure processing (HPP). LiDestri’s first tolling station, Finger Lakes Fresh Press, came on line in the first quarter of 2016.
Basil Farming For Freshness
The healthy and natural trend has come to pasta sauce, and LiDestri’s customers need so much fresh basil the team wanted a way to control the quality, availability and price. Beginning in the third quarter of 2016, we will be harvesting our own.
Expanded Cold Fill Capacity
On the processing continuum, cold fill aseptic offers gentler treatment of natural flavors and nutrients than traditional hot fill bottling. With increased demand for this form of processing, LiDestri added a new line in the first quarter of 2016 in Pennsauken, NJ.
